Announcing Our 2017 Halloween Experience Winners!

July 17, 2017

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Mystery Experience contest, to help celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday and jump-start this year’s celebrations! We’re three months away from Halloween, and we’re kicking off the fun NOW!

We’re all about celebrating and having fun – and you’ve shown that you’re just as fun as we are!

Although we received over 500 Votes in total, we had exactly 365 submissions from people who commented with something fun to do in their city!

Here’s the breakdown of the votes:

Results:
Alberta – 119 Votes
British Columbia – 79 Votes
Manitoba – 51 Votes
New Brunswick – 24 Votes
Newfoundland And Labrador – 41 Votes
Ontario – 127 Votes
Saskatchewan – 61 Votes

Ontario just barely beat Alberta for the title of the Proudest Province – meaning one lucky Ontarian will receive our Mystery Experience prize!

And the Mystery Prize goes to…Michele Fowler Lappan!

Michele, you’re a go-getter! Kudos for taking on the polar plunge, and we’re also a huge fan of outdoor movies. We’d never shy away from any haunted house – and neither are you, since you’re a fan of Fort Fright!

We’ve specially prepared this prize, just for you!

The Halloween Alley Experience

We’re giving Michele the Halloween Alley treatment. That includes:

  • Four tickets to Fort Fright, one of North America’s top ten most haunted places to stay.
  • Four Halloween Alley gift cards ($25 value) to Michele and her friends
  • A $125 Cineplex gift card so she can enjoy her movies indoors as well as outdoors – all year long, with her entire Halloween crew.

And the fun doesn’t stop…

We also had another contest – our Canada Day Photo Contest – where YOU submitted pictures to us on Facebook and Instagram. Just by tagging us in your Canada Day celebrations, you were entered for a chance to win – and win, you did!

The winner of our Canada Day Photo Contest contest is Amanda Masters from Hamilton, who celebrated Canada’s great leap forward with a leap of their own. Seriously! Who doesn’t love trampolines?

Amanda Masters from Hamilton

Amanda and her family have won a $150 gift certificate to Halloween Alley Hamilton this year, where they’ll be able to find all the costumes and decorations they’ll need to continue their awesome Halloween traditions!

The fun…NEVER stops!

We Celebrate Life. Halloween Style! This means that we don’t stop celebrating after October 31st. We’re here all year round – so, even if you didn’t win either contest above, that’s OK! You’ll get another chance – right now, in fact!

Our Spider-Man Contest is still running, which means you have a chance to comment on any of our Spider-related posts to WIN a pair of tickets to see Spider-Man: Homecoming in theatres this month.

What are you waiting for? Hop on to Facebook and get winnin’!
