2021 Top 10 Halloween Candy and Chocolate
1. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
With it’s perfect harmony of chocolate and peanut butter, it’s no surprise that this is the top Halloween candy in both Canada and the U.S. It’s a staple of many trick-or-treat candy bowls, and for good reason!
Taste the rainbow. These delicious little fruity candies are a sweet treat when they land in your bag on Halloween. And you’ll be a favourite stop on the neighbourhood tour if you opt for the sour kind.
3. M & M’s
Candy-coated chocolaty goodness. They rank as a cut above Smarties, perhaps when their delicious peanut centre is thrown into the mix.
Another great fruity treat. This chewy candy started out with four original flavours — strawberry, cherry, orange, and lemon. While we all have a favourite flavour, we really aren’t too picky when it comes to these colourful treats.
Consisting of nougat, caramel, peanuts, and a chocolate coating, Snickers have a lot of taste packed into them!
A fan favourite among parents and kids alike, this nougat-and-caramel-filled chocolate bar is in the same family as Snickers as a Mars Inc. candy product.
7. Kit Kat
This chocolate-covered wafer bar in its unique shape is a satisfyingly different type of chocolate bar that’s shareable — if you so choose…
8. Sour Patch Kids
Do you go for the lime or the blue raspberry? There’s something enjoyable about this sweet-and-sour combination.
9. Coffee Crisp
It’s a nice light snack that’s also Canadian. You won’t find these chocolate bars in the U.S., but they’re a great addition to the candy bowl — whether in their full or mini form.

These milk chocolate drops span across the Halloween season and into the Christmas season. The bags of foil-wrapped goodness are prime for Trick-or-Treaters.
