Skully’s Journey: Pining For Saskatchewan Pumpkins

September 14, 2017

Saskatchewan, Skully has arrived! It may not be October yet but Skully has pumpkins on his mind.

While Saskatchewan doesn’t have soaring mountains, its vast landscapes make for great farmland. When it comes to buying pumpkins this year, in Saskatchewan you are spoilt for choice. For instance, in Saskatoon, Black Fox Farm & Distillery are having a Pumpkin Festival September 16 and 17. Corn Maiden Market at Lincoln Gardens in Lumsden just north of Regina is sure to have an abundance of pumpkins along with other vegetables if you fancy trying to carve something else?

In preparation for pumpkin season, Skully is looking over some of his favourite pumpkin ideas. Skully hopes to pull one of these carvings off this year.
